There’s no secret to driving in the snow. #SlowDown & #PayAttention |

The Christmas holidays are upon us and for many people that means a considerable amount of driving in the next few days. We have family obligations and friends to visit. Many people will be in their cars for several hours in the next few days, and December is notorious for unpredictable driving.
We are all hoping for a cold crisp and clear day, or a warm and wet one. Often though we get temperatures around freezing with slick road roads and mixed precipitation. These are the worst driving conditions possible on a day when we ‘have places to go and people to see’. We’re on a time table, we have precious cargo (family) on board and we are mission oriented like on few other days.
The police are reminding us all to take care on the roads this week. The OPP released a statement this week.
There’s no secret to driving in the snow. #SlowDown & #PayAttention
Constable Ed Sanchuck, OPP says “The snow is falling, the roads are slippery, people need to reduce their speed, slow down, turn their entire headlight system on, and stop traveling so close to each other”
Please take care on the roads today and later this week and I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas.
